As Executive Vice President, Finance for Chase Paymentech, Kathryn Smith is responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance.
Smith directs the production of the company's annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and all financial
reporting. In addition, she determines Chase Paymentech's accounting policies and participates on the corporate due diligence team
to review potential acquisitions.
Prior to joining Chase Paymentech, Smith served as the CFO for "Project One" at Banc One, Texas, an internal re-engineering project
with nationwide scope. At Banc One, she managed a professional staff responsible for computing and tracking annual expense savings
related to Banc One's re-engineering efforts.
Smith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Hope College in Holland, Mich.
